Ingredients

1/4 cup soy sauce, tamari
2 tablespoons ginger
fresh, grated
2 cloves garlic
minced
1 pound chicken breast halves, boneless, skinless
cut into 2 inch pieces
1/4 cup hoisin sauce
*
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1/4 cup scallions, spring or green onions
finely chopped for garnish

Directions

Preheat the oven to 400℉ (200℃).

Adjust oven rack to upper position. Grate the ginger using a micro-plane grater for best results.

In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, ginger and garlic.

Add the chicken, toss to coat, cover and refrigerate for 20 minutes. Drain and discard the marinade.

Skewer the chicken cubes onto wooden skewers.

Coat chicken with Hoisin sauce and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Place on a broiling pan or baking sheet lined with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.

Bake until the chicken is cooked, about 15 to 20 minutes.

Just before serving sprinkle with scallions.

Awesome and sooo easy! We used a Hoisin-Sesame sauce (see recipe link below) recipe from this site. We also used chicken tenders turning them into Easy Sesame Chicken Fingers.
