A hearty and warm choice for those cold winter nights.
I made this recipe for my boyfriend on his birthday and he asked me to marry him (I did). I'm not saying for sure that the Prinzregent Torte is why Don wanted to marry me, but I've always worried that it might have been. It is a magnificent recipe that always evokes incredulous cries of pleasure from people that I serve it to. The cake is a lot of work, so I only make it about once a year, but the people that I make it for feel very special.
These decadent snacks are filled with a sweet cream and topped off with a luscious chocolate sauce.

This particular biscotti a bit of warm from the spices and adds depth to a good cup of tea in the fall. Add a bit of fruit and it makes a nice homemade gift for Christmas, good for breakfast with a coffee too.
This is the first time I have ever made bread in my life, and this recipe was really easy. I made both a long loaf and a round one and they both turned out great. Nice chewy crust on the outside and soft on the inside, and great flavor. I'm no longer intimidated of the thought of making bread. Thanks so much, great recipe!!
Basil and beets inside ravioli bundles served on a bed of roasted garlic cream sauce.
This focaccia turns out crusty outside and fluffy inside, the roasted bell pepper, chilis, cherry tomato and mozzarella give the focaccia amazingly delicious flavor. Eating it directly without anything else is yummy enough to satisfy your palate. This recipe is adapted from Chef Nancy, New York Times!

A very hearty bread with lots of flavor. Perfect with a bowl of homemade soup
A soft yeast dough stuffed with a quick filling of ground beef, cabbage and cheese is reasonably simply and surprisingly addictive. This mid-western Germany classic is perfect for Oktoberfest or any time of year.
Russian beet and potato salad with cooked beets, potatoes, green peas, carrots, hard-boiled egg, and scallions in a tangy yogurt and cider vinegar dressing. A lighter take on classic vinegret.
Experience the traditional Russian dish called, "Shashlik" Throughout the Middle East, South Russia, and Siberia this meal has been a favorite for centuries. Most of the western world knows this dish by its' Middle Eastern version called, "Shish Kabob." But on the Crimean peninsula and the steps of south Russia, Shashlik is a unique variant of the Shish Kabob dish most Americans know. It's a sweet/tart version of shish-kebab.
This recipe is my glorified version of a Polish "kapusta," made hearty with the addition of country-style pork ribs, mushroooms and bacon. Traditionally, it is served with "kluski (potato dumplings)" or egg noodles and rye bread.
A German classic, rich and delicious and not too sweet!
Ran out of plums and had leftover so developed this recipe to use strawberries instead of plums that the original called for.
