I make this Tiramisu a few times every year for my friends and family, because every time after they tasted it, they just kept asking me to make it again. LOL!
A treasured memory of Christmas at Great-Aunt Elizabeth's house was a cookie that I never learned to eat in moderation. Although my mother warned me not to say anything, one of the first things I would say upon arrival was, "I'm hungry" hoping that these cookies would appear. Much to my delight they usually did, and in fact, began also to appear at Easter, the Fourth of July, Thanksgiving and any other time we got together to celebrate.
An old Welsh steamed carrot pudding -- This is a good steamed pudding, despite the list of ingredients that are "good for you". The sauce (following the recipe) is not a necessity for good taste, only for authenticity, although I LIKE it with the sauce.
Passover cake is made with matzo meal. Moist and tasty!
This is really a "mock" tiramisu as it is not made with Italian mascarpone cheese, which is traditional. This is, however, a lot quicker and easier (and less expensive).
