French Vanilla Tiramisu

This is really a “mock” tiramisu as it is not made with Italian mascarpone cheese, which is traditional. This is, however, a lot quicker and easier (and less expensive).

Sprinkle cut sides of lady fingers with coffee; place half of the lady fingers on bottomo and up sides of a 1½-quart serving or trifle bowl.

Top with layers of half each of the pudding mixture, whipped topping and grated chocolate; cover with remaining lady fingers. Repeat layer of pudding mixture, whipped topping and grated chocolate.

Cover and refrigerate 3 hours or until ready to serve.
