This cheesy and delicious baked macaroni is packed with yumminess. Three cheeses together deliver the ultimate flavor. Make it ahead, reheat it for a quick and yummy dinner.

Ingredients

500 grams pasta, elbow macaroni
2 tablespoons onions
chopped
2 tablespoons butter
or margarine
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon dry mustard
1 pinch black pepper

1 ¾ cups milk
1 cup cheddar cheese
shredded
1 cup cottage cheese

¼ cup Parmesan cheese
grated
½ cup bread crumbs
buttered

Directions

Cook macaroni according to package directions.

In saucepan sauté onion in butter until tender.

Stir in flour, mustard and pepper: cook 1 minute.

Blend in milk; cook stirring constantly, until thickened.

Add cheddar, cottage and parmesan cheeses; stir until melted.

Combine macaroni and sauce mixture; mix well.

Por into 8 cup (2L) baking dish.

Top with bread crumbs.

Bake at 350℉ (180℃) F about 30 minutes.
