Surprise Rice

This easy rice casserole is easily jazzed up. Here are some ideas:

  1. Spice it up: Add some pizzazz to your rice casserole by incorporating a variety of spices like cumin, paprika, or even a dash of cayenne pepper for a little kick.
  2. Mix in some veggies: Give your casserole color and nutrition by adding a medley of vegetables like bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, or spinach.
  3. Cheese it up: Who doesn’t love cheese? Mix in or top with some shredded cheese or create a cheesy sauce to take your casserole to the next level.
  4. Top it off: Give your casserole a crunchy and delicious topping by adding breadcrumbs, crushed crackers, or even some crispy fried onions.
