Quick and Easy "Energy" Bars

Just a yummy treat if you want something sweet.

Ingredients

1 cup peanut butter
natural

1 cup honey
*
1 cup rolled oats
old fashioned
*
1 cup apricots, dried
chopped
*
½ cup almonds
crushed, or slivered
*
½ cup walnuts
crushed or silvered
*
¼ cup flax seeds
for best nutrients, use a coffee grinder to blend whole seeds into a powder

Directions

  1. In a large nonstick pot, heat peanut butter and honey on low until runny. Add oats, apricots and nuts. Stir.

  2. Use a 9x9 inch pan with waxed paper. Press mixture into pan. Let it cool and cut into 16 bars.
