Choco-Mint Brownies recipe

Ingredients

1 cup sugar
½ cup vegetable oil
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¾ cup self-rising flour
½ teaspoon mint extract

½ cup nuts
chopped
6 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 x powdered sugar
optional

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and beat at medium speed of an electric mixer until all of the ingredients are well blended.

Pour into a buttered and floured 8x8x2 inch baking pan.

Bake on top rack of a 325 degree F oven for 30 to 35 min, or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.

Allow to coll completely before cutting.

Dust with icing sugar if needed.

NOTE: If using a glass baking dish reduce heat to 300 F to prevent burning.
