Lemon Cream Braised Cabbage
Cabbage simply braised with shallots, lemon and cream. Easy to make and incredibly economical.
finely sliced or roughly shredded lengthwise
plus salt to taste
Heat a saucier pot or largish skillet over medium heat.
Add the shallot, lemon juice and cream.
Once heated add the cabbage and sprinkle with ½ teaspoon of salt. Mix to coat.
Cover and simmer for about 9 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Taste and adjust seasonings with salt and pepper.
