Try this delicious rendition of stew that's made with great northern beans, wheat berries and a bit of cumin and turmeric.

Ingredients

5 cups water
1 ½ cup beans
great northern
1 cup wheat berries

6 each potatoes
cut in half
1 each onions
sliced
4 each garlic
cloves, minced
5 teaspoons cumin
ground
3 teaspoons turmeric
½ teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Mix together all ingredients in crockpot. Cook at high 8 to 10 hours.
