Made this for supper tonight, so easy and tasted delicious. Used whole wheat pasta to make it a bit healthier, a definite 5-star one pot meal.

Directions

Bring a large pot salted water to a rolling boil over high heat.

Cook the pasta until al dente. Drain.

Meanwhile, in a Dutch oven brown sliced Italian sausage over medium hight heat, about 5 minutes.

Add the chicken cubes and cook until no pink remains in both sausages and chicken.

Stir in the onion, garlic, green bell pepper, Italian seasoning, salt and ground black pepper to taste.

Cover and simmer until the vegetables are tender.

Pour in the tomatoes, spaghetti sauce; add the mushrooms and zucchini.

Simmer for another 2 minutes or until zucchini is tender but still crisp.

Add the pasta into the Dutch oven, stir until well coated, and cook for another 1 or 2 minutes until heated through.

Serve warm.
