Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 x salt

1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon lemon
3 tablespoons water
hot
1 cup dates
1 cup pecans
2 large eggs
well beaten

Directions

Cream sugar and butter. Add extracts, hot water, dates and nuts. Add well beaten eggs, dry ingredients, sifted together. Spread in pan 8x10x12. Bake 30 minutes at 325℉ (160℃).
