Directions

Cream shortening.

Add sugar and cream well. Add egg and beat.

Add dry ingredients, nuts and bran.

Spread in shallow pan, bake about 30 minutes, at 350℉ (180℃).

Cut into suqares and roll in confectioner’s sugar.
