Geeky Grandma

I made this recipe with spinach and mushrooms and added 1 tsp. of garlic powder. Very easy and tasty, and best of all, no fussing with piecrust anymore!

June Sheek

HOW DID YOU BOOST THE BISQUICK TO MAKE IT TANGY AND NUTTY?

sean

Fold in nut flour and use buttermilk instead of milk. ;)

I like how the new receipe removes butter but I did add 3 tabs. I made it with tomatoes, broccoli, yellow and red onion and a half hot pepper. Seasoned with Johnson garlic seasoning, oregano salt and pepper. Oh, I also added Johnsonville hot beef sausage. Yummy if you like it hot!

Have made this recipe for years. I use sausage, ham or bacon and whatever cheese I have. Tonight I added sauteed onions , mushrooms and red and green peppers. Always a crowd pleaser!

I have made this recipe many times; this time though I added a container, a little over 1/2 lb, of prepared store bought seafood salad with a bit of garlic powder and baked it and WOW was it great!!!!!!!!!!!

There isn't any mention of the bisquick in these directions!

I wonder if anyone tried to make it vegan

anonymous   United States

Almost; I used vegan cheese and coconut milk, but I also used free range eggs. It's really good and I'm sure an egg substitute would work fine.

anonymous United States

I’ve used carnation cream diluted with water as a substitute for milk.
