Directions
Preheat oven to 350℉ (180℃).
Lightly grease three cookie sheets.
Measure shortening, margarine, sugars, egg, water, and vanilla into a large bowl. Beat until creamy.
Add oatmeal, flour, and baking soda. Stir until well blended.
Stir chocolate chips into batter.
Drop onto cookie sheets by rounded spoonfuls using 2 spoons.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes.
Cool and enjoy!
