American Garlic And Parsley Bread For Bread Machines


A simple bread machine recipe that creates a rich and scrumptious bread that's the perfect breakfast for a large family.









Low Fat, Low in Saturated Fat, Low Cholesterol, Cholesterol-Free, Trans-fat Free


2 teaspoons yeast, active dry
active dry
3 cups bread flour
3 tablespoons wheat germ
3 tablespoons bran
4 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 each garlic cloves
2 tablespoons parsley leaves
fresh chopped
¼ cup water


Add all ingredients in the order suggested by your bread machine manual and process on the basic bread cycle according to the manufacturer's directions. Let the loaf cool before slicing. Serve plain or toasted. Makes 1½ pound loaf.

i recently made this recipe and found it was an excellent bread to go with pasta or anything else

I have made this bread so many times that I have lost count. It is great with a spagetti dinner. You can also make the dough and shape into rolls which were a big hit when I made them for a ladies' salad lunch.
