I made two pizzas today, but since my target audience does not much like mushrooms I only took a photo of this one.

This focaccia turns out crusty outside and fluffy inside, onion and sage add the deliciously refreshing flavor, mozzarella gives the mildly cheesy flavor, and olive oil brings the tang to the bread. Eating it plain is absolutely tasty and it can be made into a delicious sandwich!

This is a great recipe for a quick, easy lunch or lovely enough for a nice appetizer during your next dinner party!

Excellent bread. Nice, light texture and good crust. I will add more caraway next time, though, as we really like that flavor. I doubled the recipe to make a large loaf, and it worked fine. I usually just use my machine for the kneading process and than finish the loaf by hand, but let the machine do the whole thing this time, since I was busy all day. Made the house smell great, and was perfect with a steaming bowl of split pea soup! Thanks for this keeper.

Very good! I live in Canada and my favourite place to go for onion bagels was Tim Horton's, but unfortunately most locations don't make them any more. These are just as good, if not better, because they have a Montreal-style bagel quality about them. I will be making them again!!

Lots of onion and garlic flavor in the hearty main dish soup. This version is low in fat.
