This is a traditional potato salad that is made from scratch

The Pennsylvania Dutch settlers made these at Thanksgiving and stored them in a stoneware crock until Christmas. The cookies can be made at any time, but allowed to age for 4-6 weeks.

My mother-in-law is a great cook and makes almost everything from the scratch. These sausages were delicious, I think you can only get that great tasting from homemade version. Lucky me.
