First time to make my own pita bread, and I was shocked by how they beautifully puffed. Then I realized it was not hard at all to make your own. Whole wheat flour gave extra tangy flavor, definitely well worth the efforts and will make my own pita bread from now on :)

Pumpkin puree and evaporated milk make this bread moist and delicious. It's made with 100% whole wheat flour, but it doesn't look, feel and taste whole wheat at all. It comes out soft and fluffy in the inside, and golden-brown on the outside. The aroma from the oven during the baking makes your entire house smell like a good bakery.

Absolutely amazing... I'm not a baker, but this recipe is foolproof. My husband's favorite is carrot cake and I made it for his 30th birthday with resounding compliments even from those who don't like it. One friend insisted I got it from a bakery!
We also love this mediterranean style pasta salad, marinated artichoke hearts, olives, and feta cheese bring this salad back to life, the cherry tomatoes and broccoli add the fresh taste; sometimes we add several strips of roasted bell pepper, or freshly sliced mushrooms, or a few coarsely chopped sun-dried tomatoes. And which way we use, it always turns out delicious!
