OMG! This is the BEST salad! The only thing I did differently was to add some walnuts instead of cashews. The dressing is extremely refreshing and delicious! You can't go wrong with this recipe!

Winter Fruit Salad with Lemon Poppyseed Dressing

Apples and pears are considered winter fruits because they are harvested in the fall and can be stored for several months, allowing them to be enjoyed throughout winter.

These fruits can naturally stay fresh for a long time when kept in cool, dry conditions, making them a perfect choice for winter consumption.

Ode to Lemon Poppyseed

In a bowl, where flavors mingle,
A dressing, sweet and tangy,
Lemon, bright as the sun,
And poppy seeds, small yet fun.

Whisked with care, a taste so fine,
A balance of flavors, divine,
On a winter fruit with greens,
A dressing fit for a queen.

Lemon zest, a hint of tart,
A touch of sweetness, never tart,
Poppy seeds, a subtle crunch,
A dressing, oh so lush.

A swirl of color, a burst of taste,
A dressing, oh so chaste,
A delight to the senses,
A sweet lemon poppyseed dressing.
