Directions
Sauté onions in vegetable oil, browning well.
Add vinegar, deglazing lightly.
Add all other ingredients, except meat; blend well.
Add meat.
Cover and simmer slowly until meat is tender.
Beef stock or water may be added for moisture.
Serve with spaetzle.
