Ingredients

1 ½ cups brown sugar
packed
*
1 cup peanut butter
creamy
¾ cup margarine
melted
cup water
1 medium eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups rolled oats
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 ½ cups chocolate chips
semisweet
*
2 teaspoons vegetable oil

Directions

Preheat oven to 350℉ (180℃).

Beat brown sugar, peanut butter, and margaine until flufffy.

Blend in water, egg and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients.

Combine with wet ingredients.

Make 1-inch balls. Flatten with bottom of glass dipped in sugar.

Bake 8 to 10 minutes. On low heat microwave, melt chocolate and shortening.

Put dab on center of cookies.
