Swiss Oat 'N Apple Cereal














Low in Saturated Fat, Low Cholesterol, Cholesterol-Free, Trans-fat Free, High Fiber, Very low in sodium, Low Sodium


4 cups applesauce
natural or chunky
1 ⅓ cups oat bran cereal
hot, uncooked
1 cup rolled oats
quick or old-fashioned, uncooked
1 cup apple juice
cup raisins, seedless
¼ cup almonds
1 teaspoon cinnamon


Combine all ingredients; mix well.

Cover; refrigerate overnight.

Store in refrigerator up to one week.

Serve cold or hot with skim milk or low-fat yogurt if desired.

To heat one serving, place ¾ cup cereal in a 2-cup microwavable bowl.

Microwave on HIGH 1 minute 30 secondsto 2 minutes or until heated through.

Stir well.
