No-bake rice cereal snowball cookies bound with marshmallow and butter, rolled in powdered sugar for sweet treats kids can help make.

Sticky marshmallow binds crispy rice cereal, raisins, and pecans into chewy balls that need zero baking.

Kids can help shape these into snowballs and roll them in sugar for a fun after-school project.

Vanilla and almond extracts add depth to what could otherwise be one-note sweetness.

These cookies come together in under an hour from start to finish.

Kitchen Tips

  • Grease your hands well before shaping or the sticky mixture will coat your fingers
  • Work quickly once marshmallow mixture is added; it sets up fast as it cools
  • Press firmly when shaping so balls hold together and don’t fall apart
  • Make these on dry days; humidity makes the powdered sugar coating dissolve
