Quick Applesauce Muffins


Why not try a new type of muffin with this simple recipe that's quick and easy to follow.













Trans-fat Free, Low Carb, Very low in sodium, Low Sodium


2 cups biscuit baking mix (bisquick)
¼ cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
½ cup applesauce
¼ cup milk
1 each eggs
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
¼ cup sugar
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter
or margarine, melted


Preheat oven to 350℉ (180℃).

Combine bisquick, ¼ cup sugar, and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.

Add applesauce, milk, egg amd oil, and beat vigorously for 30 seconds. Fill greased muffin pans ⅔ full and bake 12 to 15 minutes.

Cool slightly and remove from pans. Mix remaining sugar and cinnamon.

Dip tops of muffins in melted buter, then in sugar-cinnamon.

Makes 12.
