"M&m's" Chocolate Macadamia Chewies

Ingredients

¾ cups butter
cups brown sugar, light
firmly packed

1 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
¾ teaspoons baking soda
¼ teaspoons salt
½ cups coconut, shredded (desiccated)

¾ cups macadamia nuts
coarsely chopped
*
12 ounces m&m's
mini baking bits
*

Directions

Preheat oven to 350℉ (180℃).

In a large bowl with electric mixer, cream butter with sugar until light and fluffy.

Add egg, milk and vanilla, blending well.

Combine flour, baking soda and salt; blend well into creamed mixture.

Blend in coconut and macadamia nuts.

By hand, stir in "M&M's" Chocolate Mini Baking Bits.

Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto un-greased cookie sheets; flatten slightly with back of spoon.

Bake 8 to 10 minutes, or just until set.

Do not over bake.

Cool 1 minute before removing to wire rack; cool completely.

Store in tightly covered container.
