Baked Beef Ziti

Made this baked beef ziti for Sean's dinner two days ago, and he absolutely enjoyed it. He said the flavor, seasonings and texture were just perfect. The creaminess and cheesiness from the ricotta and parmesan mixed with ziti were delicious. It was much easier than making lasagna, and it came out so flavorful and tasty!

This recipe is nice and easy! With an Italian born mother who would never use commercially bought "spaghetti" sauce, I prepared a wonderful Marinara sauce and also used a mixture of Italian sausage, veal, & beef!

Made this baked beef ziti for Sean's dinner two days ago, and he absolutely enjoyed it. He said the flavor, seasonings and texture were just perfect. The creaminess and cheesiness from the ricotta and parmesan mixed with ziti were delicious. I grated about 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg, added into the cheese mixture as well.

After I browned the beef, I also drained the fat to make the dish less greasy. Then browned a small onion and 2 cloves garlic, added browned beef in the end, which really gave the dish huge amount of yumminess.

It was much easier than making lasagna, and it came out so flavorful and tasty!
