231.2 ml/g tomato sauce

Directions

Mix all ingredients except bacon and tomato sauce.

Put in a 9x5 inch loaf pan.

Cover with 2 strips of bacon.

Pour tomato sauce over meat.

Bake 1½ hours at 350℉ (180℃).

This recipe is leaving out 1 teaspoon of Accent, which the original recipe calls for.

I think the original recipe called for a mixture of ground beef, pork and veal.

I think it was ground chuck.

Actually, the recipe in the Houston Post in the 70's called for ground round. I've used round, chuck also gr sirloin all are good. Tried turkey, didn't like, gave it to dog.

Can u use panko or tear up some bread...probable panko

I use Cornbread stuffing mix instead of breadcrumbs.
