Cornish game hens stewed in fruit and sugar -- I originally got this recipe from the Sunday magazine of the local paper. I served it last year for Christmas dinner, and it's very good. What's more, this recipe is easy: you just put everything in a bowl, marinate overnight, then bake until done!

A simple and scrumptious dish that can easily be made with some help from your good friend, the crockpot.

Yum! I used organic beef stock, and also chopped a few cloves of fresh garlic instead of powder, never understand why use garlic powder when fresh garlic tastes much better. I browned the meat with canola oil. Overall it's a five-star dish, I would give it even more stars if I have a choice!
