Cashew Chicken with Bell Peppers recipe

This hot treat was just meant to be, I mean jalapenos, chicken, bacon and yes...smoke.

These are *not* fluffy dumplings as in chicken and dumplings. They are a "sturdy" potato dumpling served as a side dish to meat, and usually with a sweet sauerkraut/carraway/honey dish as the vegetable.

Quick, easy and tasty. Shrimp is stir-fried with sweet red bell pepper and cucumber in a sweet and salty sauce. Feel free to substitute shrimp to chicken. Serve it on top of steamed rice or crusty bread.

Why preheat the oven when you can cook this hearty casserole in your crockpot while you're away.
