Party wieners, cocktail franks, or little smokies are beloved party appetizers. In this classic rendition of the quick and easy party favorite, they are coated in a sweet, tangy sauce.

Fantastic and can leave ingredients out or subsitute and still fabulous. Excellent for lunches on toasted bagels or crackers for a party. I have made this several times and it is always a hit!!!

This is an authentic family recipe that my mother taught me in 1950 in New Orleans. It makes a great dinner party main dish. Like chinese food, it is long on chopping and assembling, but goes together and cooks rather quickly.

It can be a very good appetizer after dinner! Welcomed by everyone!
