Directions

Very banana-y and tasty.

These are the ingredients you need.

Preheat oven to 325℉ (160℃) degrees. Butter and flour a 9 by 3-inch loaf pan.

Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, soda, salt and wheat germ in a large bowl until well blended.

In a large bowl,
Whisk until well blended.

In another medium bowl, whisk together bananas, vegetable oil and egg whites until smooth and well mixed.

Next work on mashing the banans.
Add oil, egg whites into bananas.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just incorporated, do not over mix.

Pour the batter in the prepared loaf pan and bake for about 1¼ hours or until a wooden stick inserted into the centre comes out clean.

Cool in the pan on a wire rack for 10 minutes. Turn the bread out of the pan and cool completely on the wire rack. Serve. The bread slices can be frozen well.

Thanks, Liz! This loaf of banana bread is very healthy, but it doesn't taste healthy at all, it's packed with flavor. Great for breakfast or snack.

DId you mean a 9 x 3" loaf pan or a 13 x 9" baking pan?

Says 4 egg whites yet all photos show only 2 full eggs? Makes no sense!

it says sugar and there is brown sugar in the picture so which is it ?
Usually when a picture says sugar it is white. If it calls for brown it says .brown. btw I used white
