Ingredients

CUPS L BREAD
cubed (about 15 slices cubed in 1/2" cubes) *

POUND G SAUSAGE

EACH ONIONS
diced

CUPS ML CHICKEN BROTH

EACH APPLES
pared, cored, chopped into 1/2 inch or smaller pieces
1 5
TEASPOON ML SALT

Directions

Dry bread cubes in 250℉ (120℃) F oven for 10 minutes.

Brown sausage in small amount of water in skillet; drain. Add onion, cook 2 minutes. Stir in bread cubes, chicken broth, apples and salt. Combine thoroughly.

Pour into well greased casserole dish and bake in 300℉ (150℃) F oven for 30 minutes or until top crusts.

Note:

This is great with scrambled or fried eggs. Terrific as a meal or for breakfast.
