white, cooked, cooled

cooked

SMALL SMALL SWEET POTATOES, OR YAMS
peeled, cooked, minced

EACH EACH SPINACH
rinsed, blanched, finely shredded *

CUP ML MUSHROOMS
fresh, chopped *

TEASPOON ML SOY SAUCE, TAMARI
low sodium

X SALT AND BLACK PEPPER
to taste *

CUP ML BREAD CRUMBS
dry

TABLESPOON ML CILANTRO
finely chopped

Directions

Combine rice, lentils, sweet potato, spinach and mushrooms in a large bowl.

Add soy sauce, salt and pepper.

Add bread crumbs and cilantro and mix well.

Refrigerate.

Form mixture into 6 to 8 patties.

Oil a vegetable grill generously--these patties tend to stick.

Grill for 3 to 4 minutes on each side, until medium brown.

Serve burger with greens or whatever you prefer.
