Glazed Cinnamon Raisin Biscuits
Delicate and flaky biscuits are full of moist raisins and warm cinnamon and then topped with a delicious glaze. A family-favorite breakfast treat!

2 1/2 cups Bisquick baking mix
1/2 cup raisins
2/3 cup milk
2 Tbsp granulated sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Vanilla Glaze:
2/3 cup powdered sugar
1 Tbsp warm water
1/4 tsp vanilla
Ingredients

Directions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Grease cookie sheet.
Mix all ingredients except for Vanilla Glaze until dough forms; beat 20 strokes.
Turn out dough onto board sprinkled with baking mix. Gently coat dough in baking mix and shape into a ball. Knead dough 10 times.
Roll dough to ½ inch thick. Cut with 2½ inch cutter dipped in baking mix.
Bake biscuits on prepared cookie sheet until golden, about 8 to 10 minutes.
Prepare Vanilla Glaze by whisking together ingredients until smooth.
Spread Vanilla Glaze over warm biscuits.
For a cranberry-orange version: Replace raisins with dried cranberries and ⅓ cup of milk with ⅓ cup of orange juice. Follow instructions as written above and spread with Vanilla Glaze.
