Ingredients

1 each bananas
1 each pie shell (9 inch)
9" baked
2 packages instant pudding mix
pie, vanilla or banana cream
2 ½ cups milk
cold
2 cups whipped topping, prepared
thawed

Directions

Slice banana into pie shell.

Prepare pie filling as directed on package for pie, using 2½ cups milk.

Fold in ½ cup of the Whipped topping and pour over banana in shell.

Chill at least 3 hours.

Top with remaining whipped topping;garnish with banana slices and mint, if desired.

I first made this recipe as it was written. The second time, I desired to make it with a more intense banana flavor. Thusly, I use one pkg. vanilla pudding, one pkg. banana cream pudding. I also mashed an additional banana to mix into the filling. I garnished with the remaining whipped topping (lite), and them some, the final sliced banana, and sprinkled over with a few crushed graham craker crumbs. Delicious!
