These very chocolatey, chewy cookies are a favorite with my young nephews and nieces. When they come to visit we make them together and they have so much fun, just make sure you use an over-sized bowl so the ingredients don't go flying, the boys seem to be overly enthusiastic about stirring. LOL

177 ml cocoa powder

473 ml chocolate chips (semi-sweet)

Directions

In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth.

Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well.

Stir in chocolate chips.

Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto greased baking sheets.

Bake at 350℉ (180℃). for 8 to 10 minutes or until set.

Cool for 2 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks.

Yield: about 9 dozen.
