Cinnamon Chocolate Chip Scones
These scones are an excellent treat alongside of a steaming cup of coffee for breakfast, brunch, or dessert!

Directions
Preheat oven to 400℉ (200℃).
In a large bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, and cinnamon.
Add softened butter and sugar, mix well.
Stir in milk or buttermilk.
Also stir in chocolate chips.
If the dough looks too dry, add a few splashes of milk.
Turn dough onto floured surface.
Split dough into 2 batches.
Pat out to 1 inch thickness and form into a large circle.
Cut into 6 wedges and sprinkle with sugar.
Repeat with second batch of dough.
Place on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 15 minutes until golden and baked through.
