These reduced-fat cheese biscuits are a bit of a healthier alternative to traditional cheese biscuits. They are made with minimal butter yet still cheesy and delicious.

Cheese biscuits are delicious because they combine the savory flavor of cheese with a biscuit’s crumbly texture. They are a great compliment to nearly any main dish and are particularly enjoyable when served warm.

To serve them, you can pair them with a soup or salad or even serve them as a standalone snack.

Directions

Sift flour, measure, and sift with baking powder and salt.

Work in butter and cheese with 2 spatulas or tips of fingers.

Add milk.

Mix quickly and lightly.

Drop by teaspoonfuls on well-oiled baking sheet.

Bake in hot oven (450 degrees F) 12 minutes.
