Bisquick Apple Pancakes with Cider Syrup
Love love these apple pancakes, and the cider syrup was just amazing. It was a nice change from maple syrup that I normally use. I think I will be making this syrup a lot from now on, needless to say that it's way cheaper than maple syrup :) 274
biscuit baking mix (bisquick)
pumpkin pie spice
Beat Bisquick, cinnamon, egg and milk until smooth. Fold in grated apple. Pour batter from ¼ cup measuring cup onto hot griddle.
Bake until bubbles appear. Turn and bake other side until golden brown.
Makes about 18 pancakes. Pass Cider Syrup or other syrup of choice.
For cider syrup: Mix sugar, cornstarch and spice in saucepan. Stir in cider and juice. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils 1 minute. Remove from heat and blend in butter.
