Mike

These rum balls are fantastic, easy to make, and taste good. I make them very often as a snack with some wine.

You call them Bacardi Rum Balls then stipulate dark rum in the body of the recipe... Bacardi is white and much lighter... which should we use?

Bacardi Black rum is a dark rum. Bacardi's web site describes their dark rum as sweet, tropical fruit, buttery caramel and vanilla notes give way to a smoky liquorice and molasses finish. Perfect for Christmas rum balls.

Captain Morgan spiced rum works great too.

When making & selling how would you price (1doz, etc.?)

anonymous United States

You have to roll them in sprinkles because they are very slippery even after coating them with powdered sugar. Maybe it's the honey. Taste great though.

Miami

Can you substitute the honey with agave or syrup?

Merri

I use karo light syrup. It works great.
