or half whole wheat and half white flour

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350℉ (180℃) F. Grease a 9-by-13-inch baking pan with butter thoroughly.

In a large mixing bowl, add the butter, flour, oats, brown sugar, baking powder and salt. Mix until well combined.

Press half the oat flour mixture into the buttered baking pan. Spread the fruit jam evenly over the layer. Sprinkle the other half of the oat mixture over the top and pat lightly.

Bake in preheated oven until light brown, 30 to 40 minutes. Allow to cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars, and enjoy!
