Awesome Low Fat Banana Bread

I used the whole wheat flour, 2 eggs, and my bread was very fluffy and delicious.

79 ml milk, low-fat
or no-fat

355 ml all-purpose flour
or whole wheat

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350℉ (180℃).

Peel the bananas. Put them in a mixing bowl.

Mash the bananas with a fork.

Add the egg, oil, milk, sugar, salt, baking soda, and baking powder.

Mix well with the fork.

Slowly stir the flour into the banana mixture.

Stir for 20 seconds until the flour is moistened.

Lightly grease the bread pan with a little oil -OR- cooking spray -OR- line it with wax paper.

Pour the batter into the bread pan.

Bake for 45 minutes until a toothpick inserted near the middle comes out clean.

Let the bread cool for 5 minutes before removing it from the pan.

A very good, and easy bread to make. It passed the husband test....he's the banana bread fanatic. Worked great with the whole wheat flour which is good for us who are trying to avoid "white".

Glad to hear that you and your husband enjoyed this banana bread. So do we, we always try to use as much whole wheat flour as possible, we also try to use olive oil and applesauce to replace part of the butter if the recipe calls for a big amount of it. So happy to see that we are not the only persons who have been trying to be healthier on the diet :-)

Did not have whole wheat flour just used regular. Turned out pretty good for no buttermilk or butter!! I added some walnuts can I send a pic?
