Directions

This broccoli side-dish recipe is an easy way to introduce children to broccoli. Feel free to vary the mayonnaise and sour cream proportions if desired, or leave out the mayo and use all sour cream. For a lower fat version, use reduced-fat mayonnaise and light sour cream - or try replacing both with yogurt! Delish!

Preheat the oven to 350℉ (180℃).

Place 1-inch water and broccoli florets in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover, and simmer for 5 to 8 minutes or till crisp-tender. Drain and place in a greased 2-quart baking dish .

In a bowl, combine the soup, mayonnaise, cheese, and lemon juice. Pour over broccoli, sprinkle with seasoned bread crumbs.

Bake, uncovered, at 350℉ (180℃) for 25 to 30 minutes or until heated through.

Excellent...I dbl the sauce, added a bundle of green onions, substituted 1 tsp dry mustard (total) for lemon, 1 tsp wocestershire sauce & substituted 1 225 gram package of Ritz Crackers crumbled with 1/4 c of melted butter instead of bread crumbs
