My mother's pound cake recipe. Always brings back memories. Makes two pound cakes.

This bread was wonderful. I did change a few things. For half a recipe I used 1 cup of sugar, 4 banana,s, and 1 cup of chopped nuts. I also baked it at 350 and it took approx. a little over an hour. I tested it with a tooth pick. DON'T OVER BAKE!!

Ran out of plums and had leftover so developed this recipe to use strawberries instead of plums that the original called for.

I made mine in mini pie pans and used a cream cheese/sour cream topping slightly sweetened with confectioner's sugar. The filling is excellent.

This deliciously moist and cake-like loaf is great with a cup of coffee or tea as a snack or a dessert after a meal.

An easy way to make a silky and delicious pumpkin pie that will for sure please everyone around the dinner table at Thanksgiving.
