Asparagus and bacon are a match made in heaven. Baked into a quiche it's prefect for a Sunday brunch. Quite easy to prepare if you use a ready made pie shell.

Grilled or broiled asparagus are tender, crispy and full of flavor, drizzling some freshly homemade dressing, along with some these meaty and succulent grilled mushrooms, another excellent side-dish with barbecued meats. Simply delicious!

The eggplant was seasoned with curry and chili powder, after roasting in the oven, it was full of flavor. I had lots of tomatoes, so I made a fresh salsa, also added some homemade chili sauce. The result was outstanding! Slightly spicy, mango added some fresh sweetness. Definitely a keeper!
Ran out of plums and had leftover so developed this recipe to use strawberries instead of plums that the original called for.
