Raisin bran cake/8 recipes

Three delicious autumn quick breads are made with same bread base but different fillings. They are all super moist and tasty, and they don't last long in our house.

Quick, easy and delicious. This is the kind of dish that makes everybody around the dinner table happily fed and possibly ask for more.

Fresh and local peaches finally hit the market, we got some last week, and this is the first cake that I made with those yummy peaches. I used most whole wheat flour, 1/3 butter, 1/3 olive oil and 1/3 applesauce, which made this coffee cake super moist and delicious.

A moist, lightly spiced snack cake. I have made this using butter or shortening, and both work fine. The butter method is a bit richer in flavor, though.

Very nice flavor and easy to make. I drizzled some of the marinade over the salmon during the covered cooking time and used it as a sauce. I might add some chopped fresh ginger to the marinade next time. Cooking time was perfect.

Chocolate cherry pecan cake, using a box cake mix. "Dump" in the ingredients, bake and enjoy.

If you think zucchini is just not your thing, this moist and chocolaty zucchini rum cake will knock your socks off and you even won't notice that there is zucchini in it. Such a deliciously sweet way to use up some of your seasonal zucchinis.

Sugary, crunchy topping. Delicious, delicate, and slightly spicy cake. Perfect to enjoy while sipping coffee!
