Always welcomed! Very classical chocolate chip cookies!
A truly amazing combination of flavors. The dressing is divine, the warm and tart goat cheese combined with the sweetness of apple ring is truly out of this world.
A classic old fashioned great American hash inspired by Julia Child's The Way to Cook. This is a great way to use leftover pork roast and the accompanying leftover vegetables. The key is to create a lovely tasty crust.
This peach crips are so delicious that I finish the whole thing within a day. I was inspired by "Cookie + Kate" (one of my favourite food bloggers, see her original recipe below). She always comes out amazing recipe ideas and beautiful photos. Don't forget to check her blog out if you love delicious and healthy food as much as I do.
Fresh berries, light and creamy ricotta cheese with the golden and crispy phyllo, these mini phyllo tarts are melting in your mouth, and you can't stop reaching them.
Mapleleaf roast turkey... it's a big yum fest with this Thanksgiving turkey. The crispy browned skin is like Canadian Peking duck. Roasted and glazed with a reduction of maple syrup and apple cider does the trick. It's like a Canadian recipe eh?
Pumpkin, kahlua and cheesecake, yes, you will find them all in this cheesecake. It's creamy, silky, has that nice coffee flavor from kahlua; and also super pumpkin-y. A decadent dessert that impresses everyone.
These irresistibly delicious yet moist corn muffins are loaded with flavors. Pickled jalapenos add some delicious zing, and chive-cream cheese frosting gives some yummy creaminess and cheesiness.
Moist banana coffee muffins, ripe bananas and brown sugar deepened with a shot of strong coffee and studded with chocolate chips. A one-bowl, mocha-banana muffin that bakes up tender and rich.
Usually I have a certain degree of self control when it comes to my buttery treats. With this lemon cake, however, I will happily consume an entire loaf in a sitting without thinking twice. Do I regret it? NO! Bake it and you will understand. Thank you, Ina.
A bread machine coffee cake with honey, vanilla, and an egg-rich dough studded with brown sugar and crunchy walnuts. Warm from the machine, it fills the house with the smell of Sunday morning.
These crispy, chocolaty treats keep well in the refrigerator, but they won't last long---they'll be gone in no time! Make them Mexican by adding a pinch each of ground cinnamon and cayenne pepper.
They are buttery, flakey and soft in the inside, but still crispy on the outside. Chocolate chips give the extra yumminess in every bite.
Buttermilk waffles with chopped cashews folded into the batter and a quick fresh blueberry compote spooned over top. Light, crisp, and ready for weekend brunch in under 25 minutes.
Quick, easy and tasty. Chicken cutlets in a quick pan sauce with wine, mushrooms and artichoke hearts. Great for a week-night meal as it comes together so quickly.
Excellent bread. Nice, light texture and good crust. I will add more caraway next time, though, as we really like that flavor. I doubled the recipe to make a large loaf, and it worked fine. I usually just use my machine for the kneading process and than finish the loaf by hand, but let the machine do the whole thing this time, since I was busy all day. Made the house smell great, and was perfect with a steaming bowl of split pea soup! Thanks for this keeper.
