Ingredients

1 pound butter
not margarine
8 large eggs
medium
2 ⅔ cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
sifted
1 teaspoon liquid butter flavoring

Directions

Cream butter and sugar; beat in two eggs at a time.

Turn mixer on low speed and put in one cup of flour at a time.

Add vanilla and butter flavoring.

Bake 1 hour and 25 minutes at 300 degrees
