40 minFour ingredients and zero fuss. Chicken breasts get dipped in melted butter, then coated in a mix of Parm Plus seasoning blend and breadcrumbs before heading into a hot oven. The butter acts as the glue that holds the coating in place, and as it bakes, it browns the crumbs into a golden, savory crust.
The Parm Plus blend (a Parmesan cheese and herb seasoning mix) does all the flavor work here. Mixed with breadcrumbs, it creates a coating that’s cheesy, herby, and crispy without requiring you to grate cheese, measure spices, or do anything more complex than dipping and pressing.
High heat keeps the chicken moist inside while the coating crisps on the outside. Twenty to 25 minutes and dinner is on the table.
Kitchen Tips
- Pat the chicken breasts dry before dipping in butter. Wet chicken won’t hold the coating
- Press the seasoning-crumb mixture firmly onto both sides. A thin, loose layer won’t crisp properly
- Grease the baking pan to prevent the buttery coating from sticking and tearing off when you remove the chicken
- Check for doneness at 20 minutes. Thin breasts may be done earlier, while thick ones might need the full 25
Variations
- Use Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs mixed with grated Parmesan if you can’t find Parm Plus blend
- Add a pinch of cayenne or red pepper flakes to the crumb mixture for a spicy kick
- Serve sliced over pasta with marinara sauce for a quick chicken Parmesan dinner
